West Africa Fruit - Scoping Study

Resilience coordinated a study on the fruit sectors of Ghana and Ivory Coast in 2015-2016. The study was contracted by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency and the Netherlands Embassy in Accra and developed detailed value-chain analyses for the banana, pineapple, mango, and coconuts. The methodology combined quantitative cost price analyses with benchmarking from Costa Rica and included qualitative value-chain analyses for production, processing, and logistics. The results of the study will inform existing Dutch supported projects on their activities and expansion plans.
